If you are looking for a great place to take the family for ice cream in Denver, look no further. Try The Constellation Ice Cream on 29th Dr in Denver's Stapleton area.
First off let me just tell you that the ice cream is delicious! Absolutely Delicious! In addition to the amazing ice cream however, and what really makes this cool for kids, is that the restaurant is a glass and aluminum building with a replica of a mid 20th century Lockheed Constellation perched on top of it.
This is a fitting scene to be found in the Stapleton District just down the street from the original airport's old tower.
The waffle cones, dipped, rolled or plain are all very good, but I would urge you to consider the Ice Cream Sammies. I had a chocolate dipped ice cream sammie with chocolate ice cream between 2 peanut butter cookies... OMG!!! It was embarrassing how fast I woofed that thing down. Holy cr@p that was good!
The Constellation Ice Cream definitely gets 5 stars from us!
